The
12th International Climate Environment Industry Exhibition on Climate Change
Response Technology at a glance.
The
12th International Climate Environment Industry Exhibition, where visitors can
see the latest technologies of the climate change response industry, was held
at the Kim Dae Jung Convention Center from August 25 to 27 (3 days).
The
International Climate Environment Industry Exhibition is an exhibition of
climate change response technology. Various new technologies were exhibited,
including pollution prevention technology to prevent air pollution, quarantine
technology to protect us from COVID-19, indoor air quality management to
prevent fine dust, climate change response technology to cope with warming
weather, and resource circulation technology.
To
help the general public watch, the Climate Environment Industry Exhibition
operated an experience center for each theme hall. Through various hands-on
activities such as indoor air quality, resource circulation, and understanding
climate change, the exhibition was conducted to learn the environmental
industry with the body and to see how environmental technology is applied in
real life.
As
it is an exhibition held in the COVID-19 situation, thorough preparations have
been made for quarantine. At the International Climate and Environment Industry
Exhibition, all residents in the booth, including the organizers, were required
to undergo PCR tests before the exhibition opened. In addition, the number of
people entering the exhibition hall at the same time was strictly restricted
and the inside of the exhibition hall was disinfected every day. A special
quarantine hall was installed at the entrance so that visitors could enjoy the
safe exhibition while viewing the latest quarantine technologies.
The
quarantine robot wandering inside the exhibition hall was also a sight to see.
The quarantine tunnel is the result of introducing fine dust response air
purification technology, quarantine robots are applied with water treatment
technology and AI technology, and thermal imaging cameras are introduced into
COVID-19 quarantine.
Using
the AR app produced by the National Institute of Meteorology, you can enjoy
climate-related content as augmented reality. At the booth of the
Meteorological Human Resources Development Institute, we could learn about the
weather in Korea that changes due to climate change.
