On the 29th, CJ Olive Young opened the 2021
Olive Young Awards & Festa Hall on its official online mall and mobile app
and unveiled its award-winning products. According to the industry, the Olive
Young Awards is a reliable indicator of changes in beauty trends and a smart

This year's Olive Young Awards consists of
the Awards Hall and the Festa Hall, of which a total of 28 categories and 134
award-winning products are listed to check the current status of the health and
beauty market.
Olive Young explained that about 70% of the
award-winning products were found to be brand products for small and
medium-sized Korean companies. Dr. G, Aviv, Round Lab, Aromatica, and Witch
Factory are representative. The popular product line of small and medium-sized
brands, which won the first place in the overall award, was once again selected
as the best new product in the second half, proving its popularity.
In addition, Make Hill's foundation and eye
shadow were listed at the K-Beauty Awards of One Day One Magazine, where beauty
editors and makeup artists select high-quality products after screening.
Experts cited the performance of small and
medium-sized emerging beauty brands as having minimal effect on leading
marketing by large companies. While large companies reign as trend setters,
consumers' actual tastes and gaps have widened, while products with rapid
changes and trends in small and medium-sized brands have soon become
bestsellers.
An industry official said, "The
prolonged COVID-19 also has the effect of focusing more on strategies to
quickly expand the lineup based on hit products recognized in the market rather
than launching new lines recently."
