The International Environmental Equipment and Resource Circulation Industry Exhibition (hereinafter referred to as RETECH) opened on November 24 at KINTEX Exhibition Hall 2.

Marking its 14th anniversary this year, the exhibition was held under the theme of "Carbon Neutral Implementation" and "Waste Resource Circulation," the basis of "Construction of a Net Environment." It introduced a large number of waste resource circulation solutions and equipment that incorporated AI, big data, IoT, and electric battery technologies, which are key technologies of the 4th industrial revolution, drawing keen attention from buyers.

The opening ceremony, which was held on the 24th, was attended by Lee Kyu-yong, chairman of the organizing committee of RETECH (currently the head of the Korea Environment Hallim, former Minister of Environment), Jang Chul-min, head of the Ministry of Environment's climate carbon policy office, and Jang Joon-young, to explore and communicate the latest technologies.

A variety of professional seminars have also been prepared to be held simultaneously with RETECH 2021. On the 24th, the opening day of the exhibition, "Waste Management and Treatment Technology Presentation," "Waste Energy Policy and Technology Forum," and "Waste Resource Energy Technology Workshop for Carbon Neutralization" were held to hold more professional and in-depth events.

On the 25th, "Food Waste Resource Circulation Conference" and "The 16th Environmental Technician Day Ceremony" were held to expand knowledge and information exchange and form a resource circulation business platform.

Meanwhile, "RETECH 2021" will continue until November 26 (Fri). In the future, the scale of participation of domestic and foreign companies will be greatly expanded, and higher levels of content will be formed, and visitors will be welcomed once again at KINTEX at the end of 2022.
