‘BIXPO 2021’ Carbon Neutral Energy Future Technology at a Glance. 

KEPCO held the Bitgaram International Power Technology Expo 2021 (hereinafter referred to as BIXPO 2021) for three days from November 10th to 12th, which will showcase future technologies in the energy sector. The event will be held at the Kim Dae Jung Convention Center in Gwangju, and was held online and offline at the same time in consideration of the COVID-19 situation.

BIXPO 2021, which marks its seventh anniversary this year, presented future new technologies and industrial directions in the energy sector such as renewable and efficient under the theme of Carbon Neutrality, a major global concern.

KEPCO provided an opportunity for the industry to share the latest energy technologies and expand exchanges and collaborations between leading domestic and foreign companies through the hosting of BIXPO. KEPCO plans to lead the decarbonization of the conversion sector through full innovation of the power supply system and actively support other implementation sectors such as industries, transportation, and buildings to contribute to the achievement of national carbon neutrality.

In order to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, KEPCO's main technologies and policies to cope with the climate crisis were composed of realistic contents such as smart tables and future vision videos.

The Power Grid Hall was attended by small and medium-sized companies in the field of transmission and distribution, such as HVDC (ultra-high-pressure direct current) transmission technology, micro-grid success stories, and electric vehicle charging new technology platforms, and visitors were able to check the central energy green road.
