"2021 Virtual Augmented Reality Fair" at a glance of the present and future virtual reality.

The Seoul VR and AR Expo 2021 (Seoul Virtual Augmented Reality Fair), where you can see the flow of digital new deals and metabuses at a glance, was held at COEX on June 16.

The virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR), and extended reality (XR) industries met the government's digital New Deal policy and Metaverse such as Roblox and Geppetto to mark a second leap forward.

Metabus is expanding to all industries and social fields, opening an era of VR popularization. Due to the spread of COVID-19, the metabus market is growing rapidly as the MZ generation familiar with non-face-to-face platform services uses metabus as a new communication space.

In line with the trend, the government also launched the Metabus Alliance on the 18th, focusing on related industries and associations to foster the Metabus ecosystem. Alliance was formed as a system led by the private sector and supported by the government to realize the digital new deal as part of the "virtual convergence economy development strategy" that is the basis of Metabus policy and to lead the Metabus era.

Various side events such as the Seoul VR and AR Conference, VR and AR online export consultation, new and new product presentations, and open seminars were also held.

The Seoul VR and AR conferences were held online and offline for two days from the 16th to the 17th. Experts from domestic and foreign public, public, and academia have announced cases of using virtual convergence technology that lead to innovation in core technology trends and industrial structures in the era of metabuses.

The VR and AR online export consultation sessions with KOTRA provided opportunities for domestic companies that have difficulty pioneering overseas markets due to the COVID-19 crisis to pioneer new export channels.
