"2021 International Biopharmaceutical Exhibition" bio-industry at a glance.
Hosted by Incheon City (Chairman Park Nam-chun) and co-hosted by Incheon Tourism Organization (President Min Min-hong), Korea Pharmaceutical Export-Import Association (Chairman Baek Seung-yeol), and K-Fairs Co., Ltd. (CEO Hong Sung-kwon)The pharmaceutical exhibition was held at Songdo Convensia for three days from November 22 to 24.
The first "International Bio" held for the first time this year.About 80 bio-pharmaceutical companies, including K global company Samsung Biologics, participated in the pharmaceutical exhibition to showcase technologies and products in various fields such as bio-analysis/diagnosis, raw materials and finished drugs, and biotechnology.
The 6th Bio and Pharmaceutical Incheon Global Conference (BIGC), a bio conference in Incheon, was also held at the same time. The conference prepared keynote lectures by Celltrion Vice President Lee Sang-joon and Seoul National University Professor Park Tae-hyun and professional sessions under the theme of "Entering the Overseas Market of Bio and Drugs."
The Global Pharmaceutical Export Consultation (GBPP) was also held, in which 100 buyers from about 30 countries participated to support small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) who were having difficulties in developing export channels. It actively supported the growth of domestic bio/pharmaceutical companies by supporting matching between companies wishing to attract and investors.
